TAUBLIEB Films’ director/producer Paul Taublieb was at X Games Aspen working with star “Wee Man” creating daily viral videos. A joint effort between Monster Energy, under the creative direction of Sam Pontrelli, Cody Dresser, Allan Price, Jeff Hoover and Ryan Hartsfield from Monster, and ESPN, and executives Tim Reed, Mary Fenton, Neil Bandoni and David Ceisler, videos were shot and edited daily to drop each morning on www.espn.com as well as across all Monster Energy social media platforms. Paul Taublieb is fresh back from the North Shore of Hawaii where he was directing and producing an upcoming in-depth short-form documentary about big wave surfer and musician Makuakai Rothman. Airing, on the March 14 episode of World of X Games on ABC as part of their new series, “Being,” here’s a couple of social snip-its of what’s in store in this behind-the-scenes look at one of the more engaging characters – along with his family – of the surf world.
