HAWAIIAN: THE LEGEND OF EDDIE AIKAU was awarded this week a Sports Emmy for best Documentary Series as part of ESPN’s first ever win for the network’s acclaimed 30 for 30 series. Produced by TAUBLIEB Films, and directed by Sam George, Paul Taublieb served as producer and creative director, also produced by Stacy Peralta and Agi Orsi, Executive Producers Susan Cooper, Bob McKnight and Josh Brolin, narrated by Brolin. TAUBLIEB Films Creating Content for ESPN’s World of X Games, Wee Man at Austin X Games, and Monster’s Agency of Record
TAUBLIEB Films is producing/directing numerous pieces for ESPN’s World of X Games airing on ABC, including profiles of big wave surfers Paige Alms, Shane Dorian and the legendary Duke Kahanamoku. TAUBLIEB Films will also be covering the upcoming Austin X Games for Monster Energy with special reporting by “Jackass'” star Wee Man, as well as producing other video content.
TAUBLIEB Films continues as Monster Energy’s agency of record for Monster’s sponsorship of the X Games.
“Big Wave Hellmen” Docu-Reality Adventure Series for ESPN and ABC
TAUBLIEB Films is producing “Big Wave Hellmen,” the docu-reality adventure series for ESPN, produced and directed by Paul Taublieb, with Sam George co-directing and co-producing, and Susan Cooper as Executive Producer, following the lives of five of big wave surfers as they travel around the globe in search of monsterous-sized surf. Starring Grant “Twiggy” Baker, Shane Dorian, Mark Healey, Greg Long and Ryan “Hippo” Hipwood, “Big Wave Hellmen” will be three, one-hour shows premiering in September on ESPN, with additional airings on ABC and ESPN2. Phil Orlins of ESPN is executive in charge of the series for the network, along with Tim Reed.

ISX Joins Van’s Pool Party!
ISX Instant Scoring, the groundbreaking live, real-time scoring system for action sports, which also serves as the backbone of Rob Dyrdeks’s Street League Skateboarding on Fox Sports 1, will joins the annual Van’s Pool Party as the official scoring system. Created by Taublieb, ISX is a partnership between Taublieb, Rob Dyrdek and technology company Dialsmith, Inc., and has served as the scoring system at the X Games with Street League, and at Feld’s Monster Jam and for Best Trick and Best Whip at Monster Energy’s Monster Cup annual supercross-style race in Las Vegas.
