FASTEST – The MotoGP Movie

The Media X International, Inc. production, “FASTEST”, a riveting behind-the-scenes look at the MotoGP Championships, narrated by Ewan McGregor and produced by Paul Taublieb, and starring the fastest motorcycle racers on earth including the incomparable Valentino Rossi, will have its World Theatrical Premiere at the Empire Leicester Square Cinema in London’s West End, on Tuesday, Sept. 20th, 2011.

International theatrical distribution begins following week, and details on the US premiere and worldwide DVD and iTunes distribution to be announced shortly. “FASTEST” is the highly-anticipated follow-up to “FASTER,” also from director Mark Neale. MXi will be serving as event producer of the Moto-X Best Trick contest which will take place at the “Monster Cup” motorcyle race on Oct. 15, 2011 at Sam Boyd Stadium, Las Vegas, NV, with a winner-take-all $40,000 purse and a lineup featuring Kyle Loza, Cameron Sinclair, Mark Monea, Taka Higashima and Jackson Strong. The “Monster Energy Cup” is a supercross and motocross race in one, with a prize of $1,000,000 for a rider who can win all three motos, and the field vying for the prize includes Ryan Villopoto, Chad Reed, James Stewart, Josh Hansen and Kevin Windham, among a field of world class riders. The Monster Energy Cup and Best Trick event will air live on SpeedTV.

MXi, in conjunction with filmmakers Stacy Peralta and Sam George, is now in production on a feature documentary about the true-life story of Hawaiian legend and icon, Eddie Aikau, being produced in conjunction with the Aikau family, with Taublieb serving as a Producer. Look for a 2012 release. MXi is also developing the story into a dramatic feature film.
