"Ground Swell: The Other Side of Fear" - Award-Winning Doc Keeps Winning!
The rave-reviewed, theatrically-released big wave feature documentary, "Ground Swell: The Other Side of Fear," narrated by Academy Award-nominated actor Josh Brolin ("Infinity Wars," "Sicario," "Dune") and featuring a cast of the best giant wave surfers in the world, continues to rack up film festival accolades.
Directed and produced by Paul Taublieb, the film most recently won Outstanding Cinematography at the prestigious 43rd Paladino d'Oro Sports Film Festival held in Sicily, Italy, after previously picking up wins and screening at festivals including the Los Angeles Documentary Festival, Indo-Bali Film Festival, Santa Barbara Surf Film Festival, Montauk Film Festival, Maui Film Festival, and Dana Point Film Festival, among numerous others.
Film was produced by Susan Cooper and Stacy Transou, Executive Producers Mitch Covington, Sam Pontrelli, Dan McHugh, Co-Producer, Editor, and Director of Photography Wesley Forsyth, and stars Matt Bromley, Kai Lenny, Nic Von Rupp, Torrey Meister, Makua Rothman, Bianca Valenti, along with Michaela Fregonese and Vini Dos Santos, who was captured riding what might be the 100-foot wave. The film was produced by TAUBLIEB Films in conjunction with Monster Energy.

"Life on the Line" - An Epic Fishing Quest for Monster Energy
At one time, Nathaniel Linville's life was controlled by the obsession of addiction. Based in Key West, FL, he turned it around by focusing his passion and intensity on fishing and has become a champion tournament fisherman. But now he's in the midst of a unique challenge in a way that has never been done before: He has given himself a total of 15 days of fishing to catch a world record Permit on 4-pound test, one of the most elusive and difficult fish in the world to land. Overseeing the production is Monster Energy Senior Executive, Mitch Covington, also a world class angler.
Teahupo'o for the Olympic Channel
Last summer TAUBLIEB Films traveled to the famed surf spot at the "end of the road," the fearsome left-hander at Teahupo'o, site of the surfing competition for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, to produce a documentary related to the upcoming surfing competition to be held there. Featuring stunning cinematography and powerful human stories, all details under wrap for now. Stay tuned!
"Live & Unleashed, with the Dingo" Returns on Twitch Network
The live streamed show bringing together the worlds of action sports, music, motorsports, and gaming under the Monster brand is returning for a third season in 2024. Hosted by Luke "The Dingo" Trembath, previous guests on the show have included Tony Hawk, Nyjah Huston, Daniel Cormier, Guapdad 4000, Hailie Deegan, leading gamers like Hungry Box and TeeP playing games including Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 and Apex Legends - all streaming live on the Twitch network. Lineup and streaming dates for 2024 to be released shortly.
"Pay Dirt: The Stories of Supercross" Feature Doc Nears Completion
The highly-anticipated feature documentary, directed by Paul Taublieb, is deep into post-production. The film features a thematic-driven structure around the major themes, storylines, and legendary personalities of the sport, and is supported by Monster Energy and Feld Entertainment. Negotiations are underway with a major streamer for global distribution.
Branded Content for Pioneering Accounting Firm Kelly+Partners
The publicly-traded, Australian-based financial management and accounting firm Kelly+Partners, is making a bold and dynamic entrance into the U.S. market under the leadership of founder Brett Kelly. TAUBLIEB Films is producing a broad slate of short-form and long-form content, including a feature documentary about the incredible rise and success of the firm as it expands globally, guided by Kelly.
TAUBLIEB Films On-Site at Winter X Games in Aspen
For a decade, TAUBLIEB Films has covered X Games, capturing cinematic branded content supporting Monster Energy as a sponsor of the event, as well as the sponsored athletes riding for the brand. Footage is used for many purposes, including in the bi-annual videos produced to communicate Monster's contribution in the sports landscape to the Wall Street and investor communities. The team is back in the mountains this week for the annual event held in Aspen, taking place January 26-28, 2024.
Feature Films Production Update!
Along with reality-based content, TAUBLIEB Films also makes dramatic feature films, having previously produced projects including "The Vow," starring Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams. Currently in active development is the feature version of the hit documentary produced by TAUBLIEB Films and directed by Paul Taublieb, "Blink of an Eye," about the star-crossed friendship between Michael Waltrip and Dale Earnhardt, as well as a remake of the hit Swedish film, "10,000 Hours," a comedy set in the world of soccer and the basis for an IP-driven series of films. Also producing are Susan Cooper and Zev Taublieb.
